The frenzy of the holidays somehow spilled on to the New Year. There is not as much rush as during the Christmas season, but work is hectic and there's been always something to look forward to/keep us busy on weekends. Days, then weeks, rush into each other and before we know it, we have exactly a month before we go on our trip to Disney World! That may be a lot of time to prepare for most people, but not when you figure in the complexities and demands of traveling with a child with SMA. And as of this time, we are yet to do the following: get new tires for our van, get a gel battery to make the cough assist portable, decide on a stroller to carry all of Jojo's stuff while we are up and about, figure out our accommodations, get Jojo's g-tube replaced...and we have yet to hear from our insurance company if they're approving a manual wheelchair for Jojo. I'm sure it will all turn out fine.
And what's been keeping Jojo busy? Brady had the weekend off last week after working one day and two nights the week before. We took Jojo to Alexandria for some shopping at Sam's and Target and we went to eat at a Japanese restaurant (Jojo's never been to one), and bumped into some friends. This weekend we, along with most/all of Louisiana, will be watching the New Orleans Saints go to the Superbowl and WIN!
Oh Jojo, I loved hearing you sing. Have fun watching the Super Bowl, I am trying to convince Junior that we need to watch it but he doesn't think it sounds like a fun way to spend the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI love to hear you sing, I can not get Sky to sing for nothing, he will la la la or play music to something, but not sing, wish we lived closer, you could teach him so much more then I can Jojo
