Short Post
A young boy with SMA, whom I had been following for a long time now, passed away tonight. His name was Andrew W. http://caringbridge.org/visit/babyandrew And another baby girl also passed away last Sunday. When will it stop? On the one hand, I would like to get to know each and every SMA child and their family; but on the other hand, when one passes away, it is so sad and scary. I'm afraid for my son. And I cannot wait until everyone around us stop sneezing, coughing and being sick. Oh, by the way, Brady and I both have a cold right now. Four more days before we drive to Florida...

Maria I am so sorry to hear this news. I knew very little about SMA until I joined the blogging world and met so many brave warriors fighting this horrible disease. Now I see how many beautiful children are affected and wonder how it is possible that more people aren't aware of this disease. We pray daily for a cure.
ReplyDeletePrayers that you guys will be over your colds and have an amazing time in Florida.
I hear you, I get so sad when we lose a little one, SMA sucks... I pray each and every day that the scientist and doctors have that one break through, that they find a cure for our kids, that they do it with God speed. I hope your colds go before you head to FL, many hugs Sheila and Sky
ReplyDeleteThinking of you guys. Can't wait to see pictures of your trip.
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping to head home from the hospital this weekend.
