4th of July

We honor those who serve/served in the military as we keep them and their families in our thoughts. Thank you for all your sacrifices.

Jojo and I had a quiet July 4th. Brady worked. Austin went tubing. Nana came to see Jojo for a bit.
Yesterday, our friends from south Louisiana came to visit. They usually come about 2 times a year just to spend a little time with us. Like my mother said, they were my family here since all members of my family live in the Philippines. When they come, they cook for us and pretty much entertain themselves, knowing that Jojo takes our attention at all times. We really enjoyed their visit and the food. Jojo has returned to his passion for the computer and pretty much stays on it most days. This week he wore his head float for the first time in his little pool. I had hoped that he would be able to move his arms and kick his legs better without us in the way, but his movements are so limited.
That's about it in our nick of the woods. It's hot, hot, hot. Thank God for air conditioner.
