Yesterday morning, I told Brady that Jojo slept good the night before and that his HR pretty much stayed in the 50's. So, when Jojo's caregiver came, she and I took Jojo for a drive to Alexandria to check out the new JCPenney store. I kept Jojo with me and we walked around; I found that he was asking to be suctioned more frequently than usual. I asked him if he was sick or was just nervous about being around a lot of people. He said that his throat hurt. That's it, our trip had to end. I called Brady and he asked the doctor to call in something for Jojo. We picked up the medicine and some supplies on our way back. When I got home, I checked him out: no fever, clear breath sounds, HR WNL, just a lot of suctioning. He slept good last night, although his HR stayed elevated than normal. Today, he wanted to stay on his bipap. So here he is, staying in the bedroom this Saturday: still no fever, clear breath sounds, O2 sat at 97-98%, HR staying in the 100's occasionally going up to around 130. He said his throat does not hurt as much, but he still does not feel good. Whatever he's got, I hope it won't get any worse.
