Whew! 2010 Gone And A Joyful Start to a New Year

We just finished celebrating Joseph's birthday and before I knew it, Christmas was over then New Year's Eve. And now the second day of the New Year is almost over. Joseph was very excited about the New Year. He's looking forward to the new things that will be happening in Club Penguin and Disney Pixar World of Cars Online. Not to mention Cars 2 is coming soon in the Summer!

We did our best to make it special for Joseph this Season. We appreciate deeply the happy fact that he's here with us. The Wednesday before Christmas, we decided to take Joseph to the Alexandria Zoo for their annual Safari Lights. The zoo even had a tethered air balloon that we hoped to ride in, but of course, it was not accessible. Hey, a child and his Mom could wish, right? At least Joseph got to ride on the train.

Then came CHRISTMAS EVE.

Again, a boy and his Mommy could dream, right? It did not snow.

But on Picnik.com we made it happen. We had family and some friends over

and we even had some fireworks.

On CHRISTMAS MORNING, we opened some gifts from Santa.

Joseph got his Wii games.

Austin got a catcher's gear.

Then we went to Nana's for CHRISTMAS DINNER.

And went back home.



Then came NEW YEAR'S EVE. Brady had to work his usual weekend, so we planned to pop some fireworks whenever he got home. The weather was not optimal for firewoks. It was warm, rainy, windy, with a threat of thunderstorm. Even Joseph was not in the mood for it.

Joseph still got his fireworks, though, courtesy of Picnik.com again.

And he toasted the New Year, too, while toppling his "drink" over.
