Springtime is here. I'm not too excited about the time springing-forward,
but glad to see the flowers springing up from the ground.
Even if said flowers were just transplanted from pots
bought from Wal-Mart. Well, they've been on this ground for two weeks
and still looking pretty.
These snapdragons, on the other hand,
sprang up from last year's plants.
This is the time of the year that we sort of dread because Joseph had been sick in the Spring more than during Winter, Fall or Summer. Remember last year when we missed going on our Wish trip because Joseph was in the hospital? That's why it flabbergasted me when Joseph told me last night that when he got sick he would put it on Moshi Monster forum, and to which I replied, " You better not even think about getting sick, boy. Remember last year?" It turned out that one of the kids posted on Moshi Monster that she/he currently had chicken pox and the other kids were sympathetic.
And speaking of being sick, the whole week I had been nauseous and just not feeling good. This icky feeling came in waves, with highs and lows. So today, to get my mind off of it, I spent an hour singing to some songs on the Internet. Joseph tolerated all of it, even when I was being pitchy. I found the lyrics to a Twitty Conway song that Blake Shelton did a cover on and began singing when I heard Joseph hollering, "I don't like Country music!" Eh boy, didn't he know that his Daddy and brother are both "country"? Anyway, Brady came home tonight complaining of stomach cramps and stuff.
Hmm, what else is new around here?
Joseph started his web class/cyber class (I don't really know what it is called) two weeks ago. He makes the call on his computer to connect to his classroom and joins the class on M-W-F for one hour. There are still glitches and kinks to the system such as the fact that the class cannot hear Joseph at all. From our end, Joseph sees them and hears them well, although sometimes the screen freezes up. We are happy though, that finally Joseph sees other children and they see him. We are planning to take him to the school for the first time sometime soon just so he can meet his classmates.

ReplyDeleteJoseph, I am so proud of you! We offered webcam to Drew. At first he was excited. Then we explained to him that watching wouldn't be an option; he would have to watch during his assigned time. At that point he said, "No thanks!"
