After Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day had come and gone. Brady worked on this holiday so that he could be off for Christmas. Jojo and I managed to go to Nana's with Carla and Nana driving us. Jojo tasted some turkey and pork skin and called out the numbers for a short game of Bingo. After we got back home, we decorated the Christmas tree and the living room. I was so thankful that Ms. Frances, Jojo's caregiver, put up the tree and the lights during the week so all I needed to do was decorate the tree.

Black Friday came. Brady was off, and off to go hunting he went. When Ms. Frances came, I headed out to do some shopping and when I got home, Brady and company already had the pig on the pit. It was a good day. Jojo enjoyed the company that evening and through the night. He even got to play a little Bingo and won.

Saturday was pretty low-key. In the afternoon, Jojo and I worked on making a mobile for one of his toys. For being a boy, a tough boy, Jojo likes to pretend that his toys (panda bear, frog, turtle) are his baby brothers!

Sunday was even quieter. Brady went to work. Austin went hunting and helped Deedee with the hay. Jojo and I worked on his family tree. When Brady finally came home, he gave me the evening off. He also cooked dinner for me, put up another inflatable display on the yard, etc. Brady and I both agree that he is far from perfect (and neither am I!) but he is up there on the list of things/people I am thankful for everyday.
